ACINR SPIRIT IS BACK....

After three years of joined meeting with LINNC course from 2009 to 2011, rotating in Paris and Istanbul, ACINR is now to proceed in its own way which refers to a ‘real’ live course i.e. the majority of the time (three fourth of the time, daily) being devoted to the live case transmissions with free vivid interactive discussions. During the case transmissions, cases will be discussed before and after the intervention in regard to indications, selection of material as well as the relevant technical tricks. The discussions will be on the base of live case demonstrations but not on edited video presentations. All participants are encouraged to take an active part in the discussion with no time constraint. In the transmissions, the most sophisticated and high end neuroendovascular treatments will be demonstrated in a wide variety of case selection. The live case transmissions will be from two centers, having six ‘state-of the art’ dedicated neurovascular angiography rooms and there will be many cases with the latest technical improvements / updates regarding the deployment techniques of flow divertors, new bifurcation devices/bifurcation reconstruction techniques in aneurysm treatment, cerebral/spinal AVM/ AVF treatment, supraaortic /intracranial stenting and acute stroke management. Additionally, the recent hot topics and updates will be included with very brief and ‘to the point’ lectures in limited time periods without disturbing the practicality of the course.

ACINR spirit will be back in our next meeting that will be held in Istanbul on May 30 to June 1, 2012 at the original date as announced in the last merged meeting of LINNC-ACINR.

We are looking forward to seeing all of you, who have their heart and soul in neurointervention, in ACINR 2012, which will be an open discussion arena for all, in Istanbul home of tolerance, where different cultures merge in peace and harmony.
